3. This will bring you to the login screen below
4. Type in your Username and Password as supplied 5. Click on the Send SMS tab at the top right hand side of the screen as below
6. This then brings up the SMS screen as follows:
7. This is the sms messaging screen above 8. The main points to note are that you need a balance of sms messages as indicated at the top of the page. Your balance must show greater than the number of recipients in your list for you to send one message. if you have 20 members in your list you will need a balance of 20 to send one message to the list. Please contact Frank Hayes, Dom Traynor, or Shane O'Donnell if you do not have enough credits. 9. The first thing to do is to set up your list. Click on the My Phonebook Edit button towards the bottom of the page. This allows you to add members to your list. Add the members one by one name then mobile phone number and click on the "Speichern" tab (sorry this is German for Save) Successively for each list member. When you have added all of the members of your list Click on the My Groups Edit Button. 10. This allows you to create a group so that you can send messages to all of the list members in the group in one go. Create the group name and click on all of the list members you wish to add to the group and then click the Save tab. 11 Once this is done you can now type your message in the SMS message window, Then Click on the group to which you wish to send the message to, this will select all the members in your group list. In most cases there will be only one group. When you click on the group name all the phone numbers in your list will appear in the Recipient box. Click the Send button and your message will be sent. There is no need to fill in any other fields. 12. You may also manage more than one group in much the same way as above however you must add a member to the phone book first before it will let you create a new group. Members can belong to more than one group, In order to do this the name and phone number must be added twice, the second entry can then be added to a second group. We can provide more training on this aspect if anybody requires it. Most users will only be managing one group. 13. Take note that you should be carefull to enter correct phone numbers for the people on your list. To comply with data protection regulations a default message "Text stop to Cancel" will be appended to your message. This allows a message recipient to reply to your message and indicate that they wish to be removed from the list. It is your responsibility to remove that person from the list. Your phone number is registered with the SMS messaging service to allow replies to be sent directly to your phone. If you change your personal mobile phone number it is important that you let us know so we can update the number with the sms messaging service. 14. If you have any issues or queries contact Frank Hayes, Dom Traynor, or Shane O'Donnell. |
